President's Day events

I want to start off by saying that yes, I did go to work today even though I was home by 11am! I am still waiting for my Ohio license to go through so I went in for orientation and to get familiar with the staff and how things work. Hopefully, I will be official by next Monday! In the meantime, I will try and enjoy my last few days off.

On another note, Patrick had off yesterday which was a nice treat. We went to breakfast at First Watch! One of my favorite breakfast places! Then we drove to Hilliard (for those of you not familiar with Columbus, its about 30 min away from my house) to pick up some scrubs for my new job. On the way, I was driving and my lovely husband told me to go around a car that was going to slow so I did and shortly thereafter was being pointed at by a cop and being told to pull over. Fortunately it was the nicest experience I have ever had while being pulled over (and unfortunately that has been several times!) It was nice because usually they ask you, "why did I pull you over?" "where are you headed so fast?" blah, blah blah. I hate those questions and they are stupid. Just give me the ticket and I will be on my way. Well this guy did just that! no questions asked! I was so amazed. And the best part, Patrick even admitted if he was driving he would have gotten pulled over too, which is very surprising if you know Patrick! Anyways, so after that we went to the zoo because they had free admission since it was presidents day. then we went home and took a long nap, ate dinner, and Patrick did the dishes! So all in all a pretty good day I must say! Now I am off to hopefully schedule a dentist apt for this week to take care of this awful toothache I have!
